Monday October 7, 2019 is designated as World Day of Bullying Prevention or #BlueShirtDay. On this day, students, teachers, staff and all other allies are encouraged to wear blue to raise awareness of the need for action to end bullying in our schools.

This month is particularly important for the Silver Lining Foundation as it reminds us of the genesis of the foundation – to serve as a guardian body for marginalized youth who are or have been victims of bullying, seeking to prevent suicide and discrimination.
