Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated annually on March 31st to honor and celebrate transgender and non-binary individuals and raise awareness about the issues they face, providing support and promoting visibility, inclusivity, and equality.
Transgender and non-binary individuals face unique challenges, exacerbated by discrimination, marginalization, and violence. At SLF, we strongly believe in creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone, irrespective of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
At the Silver Lining Foundation (SLF), we believe in creating a safe space for everyone, regardless of their gender identity or expression. We recognize that transgender and non-binary individuals face unique challenges such as discrimination, marginalization, and violence. This Transgender Day of Visibility, we highlight a few ways in which we can support transgender and non-binary people:
Listen to and Respect Their Voices: Transgender and non-binary individuals face many barriers when trying to have their voices heard. It is essential to create a safe space where they can express themselves freely and be heard without judgment.
